Our California Walnuts, for example, can be used in all manner of sweet and savoury dishes to add a sumptuous creamy flavour to bread, cakes, sauces, chutneys and salads. Coffee & Walnut Cake and Apple & Walnut Chutney have been particular favourites for generations. Of course, you don’t have to be a culinary wizard to enjoy these energising nuts. They are equally delicious when sprinkled on top of your porridge with some sultanas. Or, you can use them as a tasty snack while thinking about other ideas for using them. Walnuts are, after all, known to be good for the brain.

Talking of Almonds, many of us buy branded Almond Milk from supermarkets as a dairy alternative but did you know that these shop-bought products contain just 2% Almonds and 98% water? By making your own, the percentage of Almonds increases to between 10% and 20%. What’s more, it is so easy to produce. All you need are some Rollagranola Almonds, a muslin sieve, and water.
