RECIPE
Ingredients:
12-15 pitted medjool dates
¼ cup oats
3 tbsp cacao powder
2 tbsp flax seeds
¼ cup honey or maple syrup (optional/adjust to taste)
2 tbsp nut butter
Pinch sea salt
1/2 cup Absolutely Chocolate granola
100g Dark chocolate
Instructions
Blitz or pulse your granola in a blender until you have a finer texture. You want the nuts to be chopped. Pour into a bowl and set aside.
Add the dates, oats, cacao, flax, honey, nut butter and salt to the food processor. Blitz until a sticky dough forms. You may need to add more dates here if the mixture is not binding.
Transfer to a bowl and mix in the granola from step 1.
Roll into small balls and dip and coat in melted dark chocolate.
Top with sea salt and any optional extras like cacao nibs, seeds, flaked almonds or more granola.
Allow to set in the fridge on a baking tray with parchment before storing in an airtight container in the fridge.
